Beca Thermostat Flashing

https://github.com/fashberg/WThermostatBeca

It has a TYWE3S

TYWE3S Support · Issue #852 · xoseperez/espurna · GitHub

I've sucessfully flashed it with a FTDI adapter:

FTDI Cable Pinout, Applications and How to use it ( Windows + Linux )

Conecting

TX to RX

VCC to VCC

GND to GND and to IO2 and RST

RST has to be on GND during connection, then disconect it and will start flashing. If you need to reset, jist conect RST again.

Haier Pad w1015a drivers / no touchscreen

 Haier PAD w1015a drivers touchscreen.

some days ago I decided to format my Haier Pad W1015a to install ubuntu.

I failed many times to install it due the (now I know) lack of UEFI 32 bit support in ubuntu, so following this I was able to do it

fro: https://linux32bituefi.blogspot.com/2020/09/install-ubuntu-2004-on-32-bit-uefi.html

Install Ubuntu 21.04 on a 32 bit uefi device .

Below i'm going to show you how to install Ubuntu 21.04 on a 32bit UEFI device (Intel Atom Baytrail,Cherrytrail etc ..) .

1 . manually copy all contents of Ubuntu iso to a fat32 formated usb drive .
2 . Download and copy bootia32.efi from the github repo and copy it to /EFI/BOOT directory of the usb drive . (https://github.com/hirotakaster/baytail-bootia32.efi)
3 . Make sure that a grub.cfg file is present on the drive . copy it to outside of all directories (copy it to / of the drive) . (you can search the drive for grub.cfg and copy it to / location of the drive ) .
4 . Turnoff fastboot and secureboot , reboot the device and select to boot from the usb drive . Now you can boot into the Ubuntu 21.04 live environment .
5 .Proceed through the installation and don't forget to connect to the internet or else installation will fail

After truing ubuntu I realized that I had issues with the screen rotation, si I decided to go back to windows, and.... after installing windows 10 home, the tablet believed it was a desktop pc.  No touch, no battery indicator, no rotation of the screen, etc.

Devide manager found no missing drivers so... what was wrong?

After searching a lot, seems that there are some drivers needed for the chipset from intel, and then, windows will find all the other devices and install the proper drivers!

looking at the info displayed by HWINFO seems that th e pcb is not informing of the chipset (empty info in that area of the report) so windows just go to the basic default drivers.

I found the answer here (seems that the haier device is same hardware as NEXTBOOK FLEXX 10) https://www.tenforums.com/general-support/178832-nextbook-flexx-10-1-touch-screen-not-working.html

that brings you to: https://archive.midnightchannel.net/zefie/files/atom_z3735g_tablet/drivers/chipset.rar

after installing it (and some nasty mesages from windows saying my computer will explode)  all started to work fine, except the rotation sensor, solved installing driver for kionix kxtj9 from https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KXTJ9
